Carbon Monoxide Safety (CAN)
Carbon monoxide is a common chemical hazard in many workplaces. It is produced almost everywhere fuel is burned, so can show up in warehouses, garages, workshops, mechanical rooms, and countless other ordinary workplaces. The good news is that carbon monoxide is one of the hundreds of chemical agents that are regulated in Canadian workplaces, and we have systems and controls to keep workers safe. This course teaches those systems and controls, as well as teaches learners how identify and recognize potential carbon monoxide sources and recognize warning signs.
