Preventing Workplace Violence and Harassment (CAN)
Harassment rarely starts as a shouting match. It starts with a cutting remark, a joke that lands wrong, or a bit of disrespect nobody bothers to address, and left alone, those small things can grow into bullying, threats, and violence. Every jurisdiction in Canada has laws requiring employers to prevent and respond to workplace violence and harassment, but the real protection comes from workers who can recognize these behaviours early and know exactly what to do about them. In this course, you'll learn what harassment, bullying, and reprisal look like, how impact outweighs intent, what Canadian legislation requires, and how to recognize warning signs, respond to incidents, and de-escalate a situation before it turns dangerous.
