Excavator Safety (OSHA)

Excavators are powerful workhorses on construction and landscaping sites, capable of digging, lifting, and moving heavy materials with impressive reach and force. That same power becomes a serious hazard when inspections are skipped or safe operating procedures are ignored, leading to tip-overs, power line contact, and struck-by incidents that can be fatal. Proper training is what separates a productive job site from a dangerous one. This course covers crawler excavator components and controls, pre-operational inspections, safe operating and parking procedures, hazard identification, and emergency response.
