Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Safety - OSHA

Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) are versatile, powerful machines that give workers safe access to heights across construction sites, warehouses, and a wide range of other worksites in America. When operators skip inspections, ignore load limits, or work without the right precautions in place, the consequences can be fatal — with an average of 26 deaths per year attributed to MEWP-related accidents. That's where proper training makes all the difference. This course covers the three main types of MEWPs, common hazards such as tip-overs, falls, and overhead obstacles, pre-operational and workplace inspection procedures, PPE requirements, and the best practices that help every operator get home safely.
