Cargo Securement (OSHA)
This is an FMCSA-compliant safety training course intended for anyone loading and transporting cargo on flatbed trucks. Topics covered in this training include governing bodies, requirements, securing process, specific cargo, and hazards. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed the Cargo Securement training . NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can vary by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.

About This Course
Our Cargo Securement safety training course is OSHA compliant, and our online version fulfills OSHA’s classroom training requirement.
Training Scope: Each class contains sections on governing bodies, requirements, securing processes, specific cargo, and more.
This presentation includes intermittent practice quiz questions to prepare for the final written exam included with the course. In addition to the written exam, this course also includes a checklist for employers to use when administering a practical exam as required by OSHA.
Estimated Training Length: Because everyone learns and progresses at different speeds, the amount of time you spend taking this training will vary. However, the estimated time for this training is 1.5-2 hours.

Is there a time limit for online courses?
Everyone learns at a different pace and everyone retains information differently. When you take a course online, you go at your own speed. If you get to a certain point and don’t fully understand the material, you can pause and go back for a review. On the other hand, if everything makes perfect sense, you can go straight through the entire course right to the test.
How does virtual proctoring/testing with webcam monitoring work?
When you start your test, you will be monitored via your webcam. If you disappear from the screen or appear to be consulting another device or other material, you will be disqualified from the course.
