Gas Monitor Competence Training - GfG G450/G460 Gas Monitor
This course satisfies the OSHA 1910.146(h)(2) requirement for understanding the operation of the GfG 450 & 460 gas monitors. This course is necessary because OSHA Confined Space Entry curriculum does not include this vital information. This course also provides a refresher on the dangers of confined space entry.

About This Course
Gas Monitor Competence Training is a need, not a want, because the gas detector - the one piece of equipment the worker's life depends on - is NOT COVERED in OSHA Confined Space Entry curriculum. OSHA courses alone leave workers unable to safely and confidently operate their gas detectors. This course is customized to your specific monitor and provides what you won't find in manuals or YouTube videos. This course bridges the gap between "compliant" and "safe," brings together the elements of a confined space refresher and the features of the gas monitors that are most useful to the workers, thereby complying more effectively with 1910.146(h)(2).

Is there a time limit for online courses?
Everyone learns at a different pace and everyone retains information differently. When you take a course online, you go at your own speed. If you get to a certain point and don’t fully understand the material, you can pause and go back for a review. On the other hand, if everything makes perfect sense, you can go straight through the entire course right to the test.
How does virtual proctoring/testing with webcam monitoring work?
When you start your test, you will be monitored via your webcam. If you disappear from the screen or appear to be consulting another device or other material, you will be disqualified from the course.
